Hi, my name is Lauren, and this snuggle bug is Pepper. We met Pepper a few weeks ago and got this eight-month kitten off the streets before she got pregnant. I have been taking care of the neighborhood ferals (making sure they are all TNR/TrapNeuterRelease) that are relatives of our cat Taco (who walked home with us and into our hearts one-day last year). After meeting Pepper on the streets, scared and hungry, I got her inside to foster her for a better start in life. She is such a sweetie and will make an excellent family addition. Since we already have three cats, we really can’t keep her. So we decided to foster this ball of fluff until her forever family appears!
It is important to me that these furry friends get the fighting chance they deserve. We also want to ensure we turn over a healthy cat to her new family.
We are looking for funds to cover her VCA (Veterinary Centers of America) Kitten Care Plan. This plan includes all necessary vaccinations, testing, spaying, chip, and any future visits she will need in the next year.
VCA Kitten Care Plan includes:
Kitten 1st exam
Kitten recheck exam (2)
Careclub Checkup exam (Unlimited)
Kitten FelV vaccine (2)
Kitten FVRCP Vaccine (3)
Kitten Rabies Vaccine
FeLV/FIV Test
Deworming
Fecal Test
HomeAgain service
Feline spay.
Pain management Disp. Fel. Spay.
Pre-Operation Panels Fel. Spay.
Protective Collars Fel. Spay.
Her foster brothers and foster sister in our home look forward to seeing her rehomed with all the necessary veterinary visits taken care of before she leaves us.
The VCA program runs about $1500 from start to finish. In our neighborhood, there are at least a dozen feral cats, and we try to ensure they are TNR’d so the population doesn’t outgrow our neighbors’ patience. We currently feed four additional older feral cats. Pepper is young enough to foster for adoption.
